About us
careers&kids began with a simple but powerful insight: working parents were being lost, and organisations were missing out.
When Abby Marcus was leading L&D at a global tech company, she noticed a worrying trend: half of the women going on maternity leave weren’t coming back. As a work psychologist and soon-to-be mum herself, she knew something had to change.
So she created a coaching programme for parents navigating leave and return, and it worked. Return rates increased from 50% to 80%, and participants felt genuinely supported.
That success sparked careers&kids: a mission to help working parents thrive and help businesses keep and attract brilliant people.
Today, we’re a global team of expert coaches, handpicked by Abby. From tailored 1:1 support to practical tools and inspiring events, we help parents and organisations grow together.
We’re a small, but mighty, team of expert coaches and facilitators. We bring different backgrounds, specialisms and industry knowledge to the table so that there’s someone for everyone.
